Defence Medical Libraries

The Defence Medical Library Service is a network of five specialist Libraries providing a comprehensive range of resources to support clinicians professional practice, research and career development in both operational and peacetime environments. All medical personnel working under the remit of the Ministry of Defence are entitled to use the Library Service.


DMLS Mission Statement


DMLS Acquisitions

The DMLS Acquisitions Department is currently based at Gosport and provides resources to Defence Medical Services worldwide.


DMLS Central Library

The DMLS Central Library is currently based at Gosport and provides information to Defence Medical Services worldwide.


Centre for Aviation Medicine (CAM) Library

The Centre for Aviation Medicine (CAM) Library is based at RAF Henlow. The Library contains an extensive collection of reports, books and journals covering aviation medicine.


Institute for Naval Medicine Library

The Library is part of the Statistics division of the Institute for Naval Medicine at Alverstoke, Gosport. The Library holds material on marine and enviromental medicine.

Defence Medical Services Training Centre Library

Defence Medical Services Training Centre Library is based at Keogh Barracks and specialises in the provision of occupational health and enviromental medicine.
